Bitimus Privacy Policy

This privacy policy is effective as of September 16th, 2019.

Scope of this Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to your use of the Bitimus' “Stock Optimizer” and “Customer Fill in” apps ("Software") and bitimus.com website ("Website"). It does not apply to your use of other apps, sites or services. Please be sure to review the privacy policy of any site, service or app that you use as privacy practices often differ.

Bitimus ("We", "Us", "Our") is a team of freelance software developers fully represented by: Krsto Kožnjak, with residence in Republic of Croatia. Bitimus is not a company. You can contact us by sending an email to dev@bitimus.com.

Handling Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

Our Software has access to merchant's data which includes PII, such as merchant name. Software uses merchant name solely to display it in app's dashboard screen. Merchant name is stored only on the device where Software is installed and is never sent to any other device or service. On Software uninstallation merchant name is deleted from the device.

Information We Collect

We may collect, store, and use the following kinds of anonymous information for statistical purposes:

- Unique installation ID of the Software instance installed on your device.

- Your merchant ID.

- Information about how you use the Software, such as which screens you enter, which sort and filtering options you use, which menu actions you take, the preference values you set and the volume of data the Software downloads.

Handling of Information We Collect

We do not sell any information we collect and have not ever been engaged in such activity. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users and their information.

Data Retention Policy

We retain collected data for the period of time it has statistical value, typically 3-6 months.

Disclosing Information We Collect to Third Parties

We will not disclose any information we collect from you to any third party, except when we are required to do so by law, or when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Software.

Information Collected By the Third Parties When You Use Our Software

The Software uses third party analytics services (Google Analytics SDK) to collect information about how you use the Software.

The Software uses third party crash reporting services (Crashlytics) to collect reports of Software crashes and other technical issues.

The above services may automatically collect technical information that is not personally identifiable. This technical information includes, but is not limited to: device state information, unique device identifiers, device hardware and OS information, and information relating to how our Software functions.

Making Changes to Your Information and Additional Explanations

Would you like to know which data we collected from you, or would like some or all data we collected from you to be deleted, we will inform you / delete data following your request sent to our email: dev@bitimus.com.

Your Rights

You have the right to lodge a complaint about how we handle data we collect from you with local data protection authority.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may modify this privacy policy at any time. If we do, we will post the revised version here. You should periodically check here for the most up-to-date version of this privacy policy. Any changes to the privacy policy will not be retroactively applied and will not alter how we handle information we previously collected from you.

Response to Do Not Track Signals

Certain web browsers may provide an option by which you may have the browser inform websites or internet services you visit that you do not wish to have personally identifiable information (PII) about your activities tracked by cookies or other persistent identifiers across time and across third-party Internet websites, online or cloud computing services, online applications, or mobile applications. These are commonly called “do not track” signals. Our Website does not respond to such signals because it does not collect any personally identifiable information.
